Digital Marketing Executive

Who would this role suit?

The role would ideally be suited to a digital marketing graduate or someone with 1-2 years digital agency experience, perhaps looking to progress their skills in a client-based role.

Positivity, enthusiasm, and drive are all key interpersonal skills, along with a passion for dogs and the great outdoors.  An agricultural background would be an advantage but not essential.

More about the role

  • Working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to coordinate and develop digital and social media activity for the brands that sit under the company umbrella.
  • Being involved in the strategic planning of marketing for the business.
  • Creates engaging copy for various platforms, designed to attract and capture the attention of the audience.
  • Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
  • Analyses social media & digital campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor and sales data to determine efficacy and areas for improvement across digital campaigns.
  • Monitors, develops & reports on competitor activity across various platforms.
  • Seeking out new opportunities to build collaborative relationships with bloggers, relevant brands and influencers across all accounts.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe suite of products (Photoshop / InDesign / PremierPro / Spark etc).
  • Familiar with digital reporting software such as Google Analytics / Sprout.
  • Understanding of CMS systems such as WordPress.
  • Familiar with email marketing and associated platforms.
  • Lives and breathes social media and fully up to date with trends, new platforms, emerging influencers.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work in a diligent and organised manner.
  • Creative, conscientious, proactive and patient individual that is enthusiastic as well as adaptable.
  • Enjoys working at a fast pace, multi-tasking and problem solving.
  • Prepared to get stuck in with any task – not necessarily marketing.
  • A passion for the countryside & dogs.
  • Ability to work on their own or within a small team.
  • Capability to communicate with all levels of staff, directors, customers and suppliers.

to be successful in this role

  • Have demonstrable experience within a marketing role and been involved in the strategic planning of marketing functions.
  • Have experience with both traditional and digital marketing
  • Be a competent in the use of software such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Sprout.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and be organised in their approach.
  • Able to work well within a team.
